John Travolta to receive Lifetime Achievement Award

The actor is set to be honoured for his career achievements at a prestigious awards ceremony in Germany next month.

The Grease star will receive the top trophy at the Golden Camera event in Berlin.

The star who just welcomed baby Benjamin with wife Kelly Preston in November is said to be delighted with the prize.

He says, "Receiving the Golden Camera best actor international award is a huge honor for me. Over the past few months, so many positive things have happened to my family and me: Becoming a dad again has ignited such joy within me... But I also take great pride in my work, and it's wonderful to have it recognized in such a way."

Previous recipients include Richard Gere, Bruce Willis, Nicolas Cage and Sylvester Stallone. Last year's winner was Danny DeVito
