Kate Bosworth devastated by Orlando Bloom break-up

Kate Bosworth was so devastated after her split from Orlando Bloom, she was convinced she was suffering from vertigo.

The Blue Crush star dated the Brit for four years before they ended their relationship in 2006, and the actress admits the split was so heartbreaking she felt physically ill.

She tells The Sunday Times Style Magazine: "Oh, I definitely know the feeling of pain, that's for sure. You know when you put all your chips into something, then it disappears? (The break-up) sent me into such pain, I think I had actual vertigo. I was like, 'Is this my new reality? Will anything be normal again?'

"Then one day you wake up and you think, OK, I'll never be the same, but I'll survive and I'll grow from it."

Bloom is now happily married to model Miranda Kerr, while Bosworth is dating director Michael Polish.
