I’m willing to bet at least a few of your favorite celebs could still be nursing New Year's Eve hangovers. Read on for a recap of what the stars were up to on the big night:* Kid Rock’s sex appeal is apparently inexhaustible. When the bad-boy rocker rolled onto the red carpet at the Hotel Gansevoort for the Svedka New Year’s Eve bash in New York City, a young woman jumped into his arms for several photos (above). Kid told staffers he had no idea who the mystery brunette was. However, it looked like there was another gal at the party he was hoping to get to know. "He was interested in a dark-haired beauty decked out in a silver minidress," an onlooker reports. And that’s not all. He happily locked lips with a female fan who asked for a New Year’s kiss. Kid and his entourage didn’t take off until closing time at about 4 a.m., staying in the VIP area and sipping Svedka drinks and Knights Head beer. * Down in Miami, Pete Wentz surprised girlfriend Ashlee Simpson by playing her new song "Outta My Head" while he was deejaying at the Shore Club. Eve hit the stage for a performance at around 1 a.m. * Las Vegas seemed to be the place to be for most celebs and pseudocelebs. Paris and Nicky Hilton hosted at LAX. Club investor and resident spinner DJ AM provided the tunes. Among the hodgepodge of boldfaced names were Pamela Anderson, Kevin Federline, Larry Birkhead, Ian Ziering and even former Little House on the Prairie star Melissa Gilbert and Apprentice loser Omarosa.Anderson headed to Pure later on for a hosting gig. As for her partner in her most recent marriage, hubby Rick Salomon was nowhere to be found. Federline also had to bolt from LAX because he had hosting duties at Tangerine. * Avril Lavigne and her husband, Deryck Whibley, had dinner at Koi before hosting a bash at Privé.

* Over at Tao, Mariah Carey played host. After the countdown, Carey stayed close to her table, which was packed with 30 of her nearest and dearest, including American Idol judge Randy Jackson and singer Kelis.

The night before, Tao was hopping, with Jay-Z, Kanye West and Mary J. Blige having dinner at one table and Mandy Moore at another.

* Even the Backstreet Boys got a New Year’s gig. They held court at Body English at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. They had dinner earlier in the evening at Agostino Sciandri’s newly opened Ago restaurant.

* Will Ferrell capped things off on New Year’s Day by hitting the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. The USC alum said his New Year’s Eve was "very low-key [and] relaxing." But he is busy with work. He says he’s taking his Website, FunnyorDie.com, on the road. The FunnyorDie college comedy tour will make stops at Kansas State, Michigan State, Ohio State, Boston College, Rhode Island, Penn State and the University of North Carolina.

But Ferrell won’t be yukkin' it up at his alma mater. He laughed, "USC couldn’t afford us."
