Rocker Lenny Kravitz's design company is teaming up with a hotel group to create a lounge at the Delano Hotel at Miami Beach in Florida. New York-based Kravitz Design Inc. will join forces with Morgan's Hotel Group on the project, which the American Woman singer hopes will recall the golden days of Miami Beach's music past.He says, "We took cues to create the place I always wanted at the beach, but hasn't existed here in a long time. "I love the musical history of Miami Beach. The Beatles, James Brown and Frank Sinatra all spent time here." Kravitz has had a string of successful albums whose music mixes rock, soul, funk and reggae and as well as providing the lead and backing vocals on his records he also often plays guitar, bass, drums and keyboards when recording in the studio.Kravitz won the Grammy for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance four years in a row: 1999 for Fly Away, 2000 for American Woman, 2001 for Again and 2002 with Dig In.
