Mandy Moore Rules Out Movie Nudity

Singer/actress Mandy Moore has ruled out appearing naked onscreen, because she'd hate strangers to know what she looks like with no clothes on.The A Walk To Remember star has turned down a number of parts for nudity reasons.She tells newspaper USA Today, "It would be completely uncomfortable to walk down the street and know that the person passing by had seen me without my clothes on. "I've turned down several roles where the producers or writers wouldn't budge on that point."And Moore has no plans to strip for a print publication either. She adds, "I'm not saying that it's wrong for someone else to do them, but I think there's a way to be feminine and sexy without posing half-naked."Moore came to fame as a teenager as just one of a string of singers to follow the lead set by Britney Spears and had mediocre success with her teen oriented albums.By 2001 the singer had turned her hand, as many do to acting with a small partin The Princess Diaries. By 2002 she had her first lead in A Walk To Remember alongside ER actor Shane West. And despite poor reviews Moore won best 'Breakthrough' Female Performance' at the MTV Movie Awards.
