Newly engaged Jack Osbourne asks press for privacy

Jack Osbourne has pleaded with tabloid reporters desperate for more information about his recent engagement not to pester her parents

The filmmaker and reality star proposed to actress Lisa Stelly last week and she confirmed the happy news in a tweet on Friday.

She wrote: "The most amazing man I've ever met asked me to marry him... and he wasn't joking!"

But Jack isn't happy about the media attention their happy news is receiving and he too has taken to Twitter with the message of not bother his wife-to-be's family.

He writes: "Dear Journalists, please refrain from contacting my fiances (sic) family. Don't be a**holes. There is a right way to go about this."
