Nicholas Cage has invited fans to approach him when he's out and about with his family - because he wants to teach his kids to appreciate the people who helped to make him a rich movie star.
While many Hollywood stars shy away from the public, Cage insists on behaving politely and graciously when he meets with fans.
He explains, "I let my kids know that the people we meet, and who say, 'Hi', they make it possible for us to live our lives and to eat.
"So we have to be thankful and be positive when we meet them, and that's important for people in my line of work. Let's be happy about these people... be thankful for them."
