Penelope Cruz Plays Dominoes For Charity

Penelope Cruz, Charlize Theron, Demi Moore and husband Ashton Kutcher will pit their wits against one another at the Cannes Film Festival next week (18May09), when they take part in a charity dominoes game with a celebrity twist.

Cruz has teamed up with director Pedro Almodovar and U2 rocker Bono to host the charity event for The Global Fund, which raises cash to further AIDS research.

But instead of playing the traditional game, the stars will be compete in Hollywood Domino - a movie board game version of the classic pastime.

The Hollywood stars will raise the stakes at the House of Cannes in France on Monday, reports OK! magazine.

Cruz is in Cannes to promote her new movie Broken Embraces, which sees her reunite with filmmaker Pedro Almodovar for the first time since Volver.

However the pair face tough opposition in the In Competition category with Quentin Tarantino returning to Cannes with his new movie Inglorious Basterds, he scooped the Palme d'Or for Pulp Fiction.

Former winner Ken Loach is also back with his new film Looking For Eric, which stars football hero Eric Cantona.
