Sir Salman Rushdie has a new love interest - he is reportedly dating a stunning American actress 29 years his junior.
The 61-year-old novelist is said to have found love with Pia Glenn, 32, who is currently starring as Condoleezza Rice in Will Ferrell's Broadway show You're Welcome America: A Final Night with George W. Bush.
The Booker prize-winning author, who has been divorced four times, was recently spotted getting close to Glenn at the show's opening party.
And the pair further fuelled rumours of a romance when they posed together on the red carpet at The International film premiere in New York on Monday (09Feb09).
Rushdie is use to seeing his love life the subject of gossip anfter bing liked to actress Carrie Fusher back in 2007.
But he is an author that has been surrounded in controversy for many years as his fourth novel The Satanic Verses, which was published in 1988 proked violent reactions from Muslims all over the world.
The announcement that he was to receive a knighthood was slammed by both Iran and pakistan as anti-Islamic.
