Samantha Burke was devastated when the press branded her a "gold-digger".
 
The model and mother of Jude Law's baby hit headlines when she revealed she was expecting the actor's child, following a brief romance late last year (08).
 
Law pledged to financially support his child following Burke's announcement and she admits she was heartbroken when she was subsequently portrayed as a "gold-digger" in the tabloids.
 
She tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "It really hurt. I have never dated a guy for money. All my ex-boyfriends were just normal guys."
 
Burke is said to have sold the interview with Hello! as well as exclusive portraits of Sophia for an estimated $270,000 (£180,000).
