Weezer and The Flaming Lips share set in special show...

Weezer and The Flaming Lips will treat fans to special shows later this month by merging their sets.

The bands are on the same bill for gigs in New Jersey and New York and are planning a treat for the audience by sharing the stage and singing on each other's tracks.

The Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne says: "The Flaming Lips and Weezer are playing a show together... where they are actually playing together."
