The Hills reality TV star, Lauren Conrad, has been named the new spokeswomen for the liquor company, Malibu.
The California beauty was in New York City last night promoting the new low-calorie Malibu Island Spiced drink.
The outfit for the evening was a sleek black dress with two thigh-high slits to add to the tropical theme. Whilst at the event Lauren tweeted: 'Currently sipping on a #MalibuIslandSpiced cocktail with coconut water #yum.’
Last week, the author and beauty lover was interviewed by 'She Knows' in which she discussed her favorite drink: “Summer is all about warm weather and less layers so I try and stick to low-calorie cocktails whenever possible.”
The new drink from the Malibu range is only 70 calories per serving and has a hint of vanilla and cinnamon along with coconut liqueur with light spices.
She added: “'I like to drink it over crushed ice or even with some coconut water.”
Lauren tweeted the news about her partnership with Malibu drinks range, on the 1st May writing: ‘I am excited to announce that I’m partnering with @Malibu_Rum for the new spirit #MalibuIslandSpiced!...’
Conrad is also releasing a book in June titled ‘Infamous’ so will be expected to be on a book tour after that.
