Jus-Rol Mince Pies

These mince pies are great for when you have guests over Christmas and have a really festive look about them too! Here's what you'll need and how to make them -

Christmas Tree Topped Mince Pies

Ingredients

1 x 500g block Jus Rol™ Shortcrust pastry – thawed

200g Mincemeat

Caster Sugar for sprinkling

Method:

Preheat oven to 200ºC (180ºC for fan assisted) Gas M.6. Have ready a 12 hole cupcake tin (you will have to use this more than once)

Roll out the pastry and cut out 16 x 7.5cm/3” discs, use trimmings to cut out same quantity of pastry tree shapes.

Use discs to line cupcake tin, place 1 tsp. mincemeat in each and top tree shape, having moistened base with a little water. Brush tree shapes with water and sprinkle lightly with caster sugar.

Bake for 12-15 minutes until pastry golden brown
