Shrek drinking glasses that have been sold at McDonald's restaurants throughout the U.S. have been recalled because they feature a toxic metal.
Reports suggest the fast food chain will recall 12 million Shrek glasses after federal regulators discovered they contain cadmium.
The glasses were sold at McDonald's as a promotional tie-in with the movie Shrek Forever After. Parents have been advised to keep the glasses away from children and to return them immediately.
