Health Benefits of Rooibos:

A great caffeine-free alternative to traditional tea to help meet recommended daily fluid levels
Low in harmful tannins, which can reduce iron absorption and exist in higher quantities in black tea
High in antioxidants which help protect the body against free radicals. Damage to cells by free radicals is thought to be partly to blame for chronic diseases such as cancer, heart diseases and ageing
Rooibos boasts nine trace minerals, including iron, potassium, zinc and manganese and is low in oxalic acid
Rooibos has absolutely no calories and has a sweeter flavour than other teas, so there less of a need for sugar
