The Sports Illustrated model - who has two-month-old daughter Luna Simone with her husband John Legend - downloaded the Niantic title earlier this month and has been playing it non-stop.

Chrissy has decided she has been spending too much time on the game and has spent too much money on in-app purchases and is going cold turkey from 'Pokemon'.

Taking to her Twitter account, she revealed: "I'm over Pokemon. Please let's pretend I never played and I never bought hundreds of pounds of incense (sic)"

Chrissy, 30, was initially worried she was too old to play the game - which is very popular with children - and asked her Twitter followers whether or not she should get the game.

But after taking the plunge and getting the game she initially couldn't stop catching the Pokemon that appear in the real world via your smart phone screen and need to be caught by players.

As well as playing in the US, Chrissy was also busy catching Pokemon in Italy when on on a trip to the European country.

'Pokemon Go' has raised some safety concerns as players have suffered injuries whilst walking through their local area staring at their screens rather than paying attention to their surroundings.

There have also been concerns that players have been lured to certain real-life areas in order to get in-game rewards.
