Activision has partnered with Rockstar Energy Drink for the launch of 'Destiny 2'.
The video game publisher has announced that Rockstar and another of its new partners, Pop-Tarts, will feature their own custom-tailored offers to celebrate the much-anticipated launch of 'Destiny 2' on September 6.
In a statement, Activision explained: "'Destiny 2's international collaboration with Rockstar Energy Drink includes limited edition 'Destiny 2 themed' cans in different flavours available in the U.S. and Canada, U.K. and Germany."
As a result of the new partnership, consumers can get their hands on in-game gear with the purchase of a 'Destiny 2' Rockstar can, while there is also the chance to win a host of exciting prizes, like a 'Destiny 2'-themed motorcycle.
Pop-Tarts, on the other hand, will boost players' 'Destiny 2' gaming enjoyment by offering XP Boost, which will be free with specially-marked packs of the tasty treats.
Following the announcement, Byron Beede, the Senior Vice-President of Product Management, said: "In collaboration with Rockstar Energy Drink and Pop-Tarts, we chose strategic, renowned lifestyle partners in major markets to bring the 'Destiny 2' universe to life.
"We're bringing these partners together to complement the overwhelming excitement of 'Destiny 2's launch with benefits that reward players both inside and outside of the universe."
'Destiny 2' launches on PlayStation4 and Xbox One next month, and on PC on October 24.
