The 46-year-old English actor has starred in a number of hit movies including 'Captain America: The First Avenger' but is probably best known as the voice of Victor Vran in the role playing game franchise and is now reprising his role as the game character in 'Victor Vran: Overkill Edition'.

Speaking to the independent games publisher Wired Productions, the 46 year old said: "I've always been a fan of those games. I like the character. I like the reluctant heroes. I like the fact Victor Vran has demon powers but he doesn't want to use them inappropriately but in a good way instead."

The renowned voice actor is a fan favourite among fans and industry professionals for his gravelly voice of the demon-killer.

In the games the player assumes the role of Victor Vran who arrives in the fantasy city of Zagoravia to help its inhabitants fight off a demon infestation of unknown origin.

Rockband Motorhead are featured in the games new 'Motorhead: Through the Ages' and 'Fractured World' additions which are developed by Haemimont Games and Doug said he was excited to be working with the band's late frontman Lemmy.

He said: "I loved Lemmy and his music. Where music of a particular band is directly tied in a way the game is developed is very unique and exciting. When I heard Lemmy was going to be in it, it was an exciting tall mix and a fun thing to be a part of."

The new additions are slated to launch in physical and digital formats for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and for PC on June 6.
