Fry Cry 6 free weekend: Ubisoft announce free-to-play stretch alongside other deals

Recently, it was announced by Ubisoft that popular game, Far Cry 6, will be available to play for free from today (March 24th, 2022), to March 27th, 2022.

Fans can access this great deal on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, along with Windows PC through the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store. Players can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ on PC, Stadia and Amazon Luna.

The Far Cry series is perhaps one of Ubisoft’s most popular, in addition to Assassin’s Creed franchise, and boasts excellent open-world, first-person scenarios that will definitely have you hooked.

Far Cry 6, which released on October 7th, 2021, is the latest addition to the franchise that throws players into the middle of a modern-day guerrilla revolution.

On the island of Yara, President Antón Castillo (Giancarlo Esposito) promises to restore his nation to its once great state, while grooming his son to take his place.

Players take control of Dani Rojas, who can be either a male or female character, whose aim is to escape Yara, but who ends up joining the revolution and fighting for freedom.

Players who are new to Far Cry 6 can pre-load the game from today at 7pm (UK time), and will have access to the full, complete game, which also includes all free downloadable content (DLC) published to-date.
