'Pro Evolution Soccer 2017' have announced a partnership with Liverpool Football Club to rival 'FIFA 17'.

Just as FIFA announced their partnership with Manchester United, PES have teamed up with the soccer club - captained by Jordan Henderson - for the forthcoming game.

The club's famous Anfield grounds have been recreated for a "compact and speedy game flow" and will include the team's full football kit.

Once the game is released there is expected to be an update, which will mean gamers will get to play in the new grounds, which are still being renovated and won't be finished in time for the release of the game.

And the club's anthem, 'You'll Never Walk Alone' will also be heard during matches.

The game will also included a brand new feature called "Legends", which means players will be able to pick former Liverpool footballers for their squad.

Pro Evolution Soccer's Online & Social Media Manager, Asim Tanvir, has hinted that the likes of Robbie Fowler, Ian Rush and Michael Owen and likely to be made available.

The game will also benefit from new features including Real Touch, Precise Pass, Natural Player Movement and Corner Kick Control.

'PES 2017' will be made available before 'FIFA 17' on September 15, with 'FIFA 17' dropping on September 27.
