StarBlood Arena

StarBlood Arena

The intense virtual reality shooter game was first revealed by developers Whitemoon Dreams at the PSX event back in 2016 but now the pilots and their ships are set to launch into the Arena on April 11 as a PlayStation VR game.

The is arena-based combat title has full 360-degree movement, where the stakes are glory, credits and player's life - while the StarBlood Network broadcasts the gamer's every move in front of an action-craving universe.

Players can choose from nine distinct ships - each have their own unique pilot, playstyle and loadout - and take part in single player Carnage deathmatches, Team Carnage deathmatches for up to four players, or Invaders co-op mode.

Success leads to fame and unlockables such as ships, weapons and auxiliary modifications. Failure means destruction in front of trillions.

New gaming features on VR will include; The Steel Hercules skin for The Baron - as veteran of the arena, he will head-lock and body-slam his way to victory, The El Diablo Azul skin for Buck - this mysterious masked champion's appetite for battle is matched by his hunger for snacks and the Granny Granny Boom Boom skin for Alice, who has dusted off her explosives to teach the newbies a lesson or two.

Gamers will be able to earn Blood Bux whilst they fight in the Arena and for players who buy the Legends Pack will get a supply of 10gs to help them buy things which are yet to be revealed.

More details are expected to be released soon on the PlayStation Blog and www.starbloodarena.com
