Redecorating is hard work, stressful and just plain messy. So, it would seem that we choose just to not put ourselves through this.
Research has shown that many Brits are stuck at the turn of the century with a surprising half of those quessioned in a new survey, admitting that they haven't redecorated their home for ten years.
Just under a third of those questioned claimed that they last decorated their house between 2006 and 2011 and it seems the reason might be lack of creativity - three fifths claim they struggle to sinf inspiration for home interior trends.
The new survey, conducted by MFI, also revealed that two thirds of people questioned said they were comfortable buying furniture online.
