- Hi Celia, Can you help me to work out what to do with my 2nd bedroom? We have a lovely master bedroom, however the 2nd bedroom is very small and only has limited storage with an old double bed in it. There are fitted wardrobes and the room is light in colour, but I need it for guests and it just looks uninviting?
Why don’t you replace the double bed with one that has drawers underneath? You d be surprised as to what you can fit in these!
You haven’t told me how much wall space you have, but a general rule for small spaces is use mirrors.
If you have a wall you can mirror then do so. Keep the bedding and headboard light in colour so that its not too heavy and keeps the room looking airy.

Hi Tina,thank you! Like a home, your outfit should always have a star piece. The large oversized pieces add that 'interest' to any look, whether it is in the home or if you are wearing it.
Take a relatively ordinary outfit, perhaps a nice polo neck sweater and pencil skirt and grab a fabulous pair of boots, perhaps thigh high or with funky heels, and or a great bracelet or a skull ring such as the ones I wear!
Look in Butler and Wilson for some interesting jewellery! Treat your home the same, and look for one or 2 fab bits to star and make any ordinary furniture stand out with style!
- Celia, I ve got a really nice dining room but want to get a really glam light to go in the centre of the room. I do have a budget of about £1000.00 for this, as I have taken your advice and realise how important something like this is in a room and the impact it will have. Hi Jayne. Im glad you have taken my advice on your central lighting and it seems you have quite a decent budget, so go for it!
