MINIMALIST LIVING: What getting rid of more than half my stuff taught me by Simple Happy Zen

During the last 7 years of living a minimalist lifestyle, I got rid of over half my possessions. And getting rid of stuff has changed my life for the better in a number of ways. Not only did I declutter lots of things, I also have many things I dont buy anymore, because I believe minimalist living fits me well. In this video, I share 5 things that living with less has taught me, and what I learned from simple living. In a way, minimalism is quite simple. You certainly don't have to be an extreme minimalist to experience some of the benefits. It can help you to save money, to simplify your life, and to have more freedom to focus on what makes you happy. But most of us already know these things. So in this video, I wanted to talk about some of the less obvious stuff. How to be a minimalist in your own way, what things to get rid of, how to declutter things that don't add value anymore, etc. I share many minimalism tips on this channel, for example 10 things i dont buy anymore, minimalist declutter tips, etc. This video talks more about the mental benefits of simplifying and downsizing. Because if you ask me, these things are even better! Because they can translate to all kinds of different parts of your life. So I hope you enjoy this video and find it inspiring. :)

My journey to minimalism (MAJOR decluttering, home organizing, + letting go of things responsibly) by Itzblitzzz

Some of the footage in this video is honestly hard for me to watch. Huge thanks to Shara for helping me declutter the parts of our home which have literally been giving me anxiety for years!!! I have never felt lighter, more motivated, and happier to live in a home with LESS things!! After we filmed this, I made so much progress on other areas in our home and sold the majority of my remaining clothes on Instagram (thank you to all who purchased, we raised some money for charity and it felt awesome). Good luck to everyone who is struggling with this - you can absolutely do it and live a better life with more clarity.
