Do you take care of your nails?

Do you take care of your nails?

Taking care of our nails should be a top a priority for everybody, well-manicured nails finish off any look and make you look groomed overall.

But sometimes it's hard to keep them in all shape and the same length because they continue to snap or split.

Cuticles can also be a problem, if they're not looked after properly they can tear and leave you with unsightly and painful cuts.

Kim C.A. Ford Chairman of the British Association for Beauty Therapy and Cosmetolgy says:

"Everyone would love perfect nails, and in our busy schedules we need quick fixes. A good way to keep nails in great condition is rubbing in a good cuticle and nails cream every night, keep beside your bed so you don’t forget.

"Ensure when filing to file side to centre with a good quality file, this will help avoid splitting of the nails. If applying nail polish a base coat is a must to ensure colour will not stain nails and smoother application and a top coat to give great shine. Visit a BABTAC salon at least once a month for a professional manicure or pedicure along with great home care products and advice, which will keep the hands and feet in excellent condition."
