Look great on the beach with our beauty tips
So you're off on holiday and worried about looking less than fabulous on the beach? Well, do not fear, because you can still look great - you just need to sort out your beach make-up!
Your normal foundation will be far too heavy for sunbathing and will make you sweaty. Try a tinted moisturiser: these will give your skin all the moisture it needs, and also a hint of colour, so you won't look like a ghost on the first few days before you get a tan. Benefit You Rebel Tinted Moisturiser is great, and also contains a SPF of 15 to protect your skin-but make sure you still use a proper sun cream on your face so there’s no chance of nasty burning!
Add a sweep of bronzing powder over the top for a golden glow, and your skin will look flawless.
For your eyes, waterproof mascara and eyeliner are the key to making sure you don't look like a panda after a dip in the sea. Curl your eyelashes and apply a coat of waterproof mascara. Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Mascara in Black is great, and adds lots of volume. Then on to eyeliner- don't bother with liquid, it’s too OTT for the beach. A slick of kohl will do nicely. Lancôme Le Crayon Kohl Eyeliner Waterproof will not budge all day.
If you don't want to have to bother with eye make-up, why not try getting your eyelashes tinted before your holiday? It makes a real difference, and you won't need to apply mascara at all. Perfect for hassle-free days in the sunshine!
Now, to complete your gorgeous beach look, all you need to do is add a dab of lip balm and you're ready to go and attract some attention!
