Nicole Richie stunned in her Golden Globes outfit on Sunday evening

Old Hollywood Glamour was the hairstyle of the evening at the weekend's Golden Globes, and we have the tips to help you get the look.

Nicole Richie, Megan Fox and Amy Adams were just a few of the starlets who turned to Hollywood's Golden Afge era for hair inspiration.

Icons such as Veronica Lake and Marlene Dietrich influenced trends of modern Hollywood.

Asgar Saboo (www.asgarboo.com) who’s styled the likes of Cindy Crawford and style icon Twiggy has provided the tips to help you recreate the look at home.

Easy Step-by-step guide on how to achieve –  1940's Glamour

1.         Tip your hair upside down whilst drying to achieve extra volume.

2.         Take a pintail or sectioning comb and create a deep side parting on the right side of the head.

3.         Insert ten large Velcro rollers working your way from the top of the head. Ensure that you roll inwards for that extra lift and spray with hairspray for a good hold.

4.         After leaving the rollers in for at least 1 hour. Remove the rollers and gently brush out the curls with a comb.

5.         Tuck hair behind the left ear and finish by adding a very small amount of serum or argon oil to the rest of the hair for that beautiful healthy finish.
