We told you last week how Mischa Barton is set to star in a new show by Ashton Kutcher based on the fashion industry and one condition of the role is she needs to put on weight.
The O.C. actress was asked to go on a weight-gaining diet after concerns she is looking too skinny. She will only keep her role in A Beautiful Life if she keeps her weight up.
A source said: "The producers are very mindful that their target audience is teenage girls so it's important not to send the wrong message.
"Mischa has the part on condition she does not lose weight - they want her to put weight on if she can."
Maybe the same rule should be applied to real models in the industry.
