Sophie Dahl has hit out at skinny celebrities for inspiring others to try unhealthy faddy diets, The Sun reports.
The model, famed for her curves, warned people not to follow "paranoid and unhappy" stars saying: "Starving is not sexy."
"It is bleeding gums, acrid breath, brittle bones, osteoporosis, infertility and complication. It saps and withers. Please don't be swayed by some glossy fictional food diary that a stick-thin starlet swears by."
Sophie is one of the few models famed for her normal, attainable figure. She was a size 14 when she started modelling at the age of 19. She admitted that she never considered a modelling career until she had a chance meeting at Vogue magazine. She said: "I had enormous tits and even bigger arse."
Big boobs or not she proved you don't have to be a stick to make it in the fashion industry, we just wish there were more famous faces out there like her.
