Get glowing radiant skin with this advice

Glowing, radiant skin is something that we wish we could wake up with every morning, but the reality is the chances of it happening is going to be slim.

But there are some things and different products that can help us on the way to glowing, youthful skin.

First of all, a facial.

Treat yourself to a microdermabrasion

Yes, this is a treat most definitely, but it’s definitely worth it for your skin.

We love the Dove Spa facials, a microdermabrasion facial will help to renew skin cells and remove dead skin cells. It helps to clear congested skin and leaves the skin with a natural glow.

It doesn’t aggravate the skin in anyway, but helps to buff away the dead skin and leaves your skin squeaky clean and renewed.

Dove Spa also offer a bespoke facial which is tailored specifically to your skin type and needs – perfect if you’re not really sure what your skin needs.

Now, on to skincare.

Using radiant-specific products will help to give your skin an inner glow. Start with moisturising serum, we love the Bravura London Hyaluronic Acid Serum. It’s an incredible lightweight serum that provides intense hydration. It doesn’t clog the pores but helps to retain water within the skin, locking in moisture that your skin usually loses.

The Dove Spa Revitalising Capsules are perfect to give your skin a quick boost of moisture, which in turn will lead to radiant skin. The oil-like capsules should be applied directly onto the skin and massaged in to give your skin a boost. We use these at night to let them get to work overnight with a hydrating night cream.

There are also specific foundations that will help to promote radiant skin as well.

Here we have two options. The MUA Undress your Skin foundation, which is an amazing £5. (Available from Superdrug stores and www.muastore.co.uk) Whilst we didn’t hold out our high hopes on this foundation – mainly due to the price – we were pleasantly surprised to find this a lightweight foundation with medium coverage but still providing a natural glow.

On the other end of the scale is the Clarins Skin Illusion Natural Radiance Foundation, currently on special price at Escentual.com for £20.80. The hydrating fluid covers imperfections and makes skin look healthier and more refined. The lightweight texture melts into the skin and gives a barely-there look but still provides a medium-to-full coverage.

If you’re a BB Cream convert and haven’t tried the Ginerva BB Cream then it’s time you did. This beauty helps to cover imperfections, even out skin tone whilst softening and refining the skin. So as you’re wearing it during the day it’s getting to work on perfecting your skin too. It’s easily one of the best BB Creams we’ve tried. The Green Tea extracts contain a high level of anti-oxidants to help fight against free radical damage and help prevent fine lines. Basically if BB Cream is your favourite for coverage, it should be the Ginvera BB cream. (Buy it from www.janiro.co.uk)
