Have you noticed the emergence of the techneck?

Tech-reliant Brits may begin to think differently about their love of mobile phones and tablets as the emergence of a new wrinkle comes forward.

CACI, the world leaders in non-surgical facelifts, has noticed the emergence of a brand new breed of wrinkle amongst tech-obsessives.

Labeled the 'Techneck', the line around the neck and chin is caused by the modern day compulsion of looking down at handheld devices and computers on a daily basis. With over 72% of the UK now owning at least one smartphone, it seems there is no end to the new wrinkle.

Joining the likes of 'laughter lines', 'crows' feet' and 'worry wrinkles'; the 'Techneck' is the latest face furrow and was identified following a surge of neck-related enquiries for the CACI Microlift.

Dean Nathanson, Managing Director of CACI international commented;"We're a hard working nation and our hectic every day lives mean that keeping one's head down, be it buried in work emails or in an e-reader, is completely the norm. Recently we noticed a surge in enquiries for our product, specifically to combat lines around the neck area. We've identified a correlation between the rise of technology in recent years and the growth of the 'Techneck', so whilst there is little chance of the nation giving up technology, at least we can help people reduce wrinkles and keep their chin up!"
