Fortunately for our eyes, not every celeb got it wrong this week and there was some fashion salvation from Zoe Saldana and Abbey Clancy.
Zoe proved you can touch on the futuristic trend without going for full on spaceman style, take not Claire Merry, with this gorgeous dress she wore to the Star Trek premiere.
The actress went for a silver dress with a daring low neck. The floaty skirt was balanced out by the more fitted top half of the dress and the colour was perfect for the occasion without been too full on.
She teamed the dress with gorgeous statement black heels, giving an edge to the feminine dress. The piled up cuff bracelets were the perfect amount of accessories and Zoe works big bouncy hair to perfection. Watch out Cheryl Cole, you have a hair rival!
Staying in London to complete our Best Dressed list, it's Abbey Clancy who wowed at the FiFi UK Fragrance Awards.
Abbey showed how to work the nude trend in this buff coloured dress with cowl neckline. The long length of the dress means she can afford to show off a bit of skin on her upper half, revealing her golden tanned shoulders.
Abbey accessorise with beige heels, normally different shades of the same colour shouldn't work together but this time it does, although her toenails could do with a bit of colour on them.
She finished the look by adding a splash of colour with a gorgeous patent oversized purple clutch bag.
