Hollyoaks's Claire Cooper
We all love a good soap knees up but what could be better than stars from all the soaps in one place! The British Soap Awards took place on Saturday and as usual we are here to give you a glimpse at the best (and worst) outfits from the night.
Claire Cooper, aka Hollyoaks Jacqui McQueen, certainly made a change from her characters usual chavvy style in this gorgeous backless dress. The actress proved you don't have to flash your cleavage to look sexy, showing off your back works the same but looks much classier.
Claire has clearly been paying attention to trends this season as the nude colour of her dress is this season's 'It' colour. The glitter detail also gives it a bit of a special touch.
Claire's bouffant up-do looks stylish and elegant and makes a welcome change to the scraped backed ponytail we are so used to seeing on her.
The actress let her dress do the talking with no accessories except her shoes. Is that a red soled Louboutin we spy? Wether they are designer or not the colour matches the dress perfectly and add inches to her already long legs.
Hollyoaks seemed to be on a bit of a fashion roll last night as Roxanne McKee, the soap's Louise Summers, wowed in a white minidress. The colour gave the actress a great glow and the shape of the dress emphasised her great figure.
It was a simple style but she still managed to look amazing.
Roxanne also went for leg lengthening nude heels, although we're not too sure on the satin fabric, but we like the vava voom red polish on her toes and fingers!
The actress added a cute black box clutch bag and Beyonce-esque chandelier earrings to finish of the look. We like!
Representing the south and Eastenders was Kara Tointon who plays Dawn Swann.
Kara worked a Spring/Summer trend hat trick with nude colours, a feathered skirt and bustier top. Top marks! She added jumbo accessories with a gold cuff and oversized cocktail ring. However she downsized with her tiny white clutch bag.
It seems nude heels were the order of the day at the awards with Kara opting for peep toes in the pale hue.
Let's see if the girls can transfer their great style to the screen now. Jacqui McQueen in Louboutins? Now that we would really like to see!
