Christina Aguilera to launch perfume

Christina Aguilera joins the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, and Sarah Jessica Parker in launching her own perfume.

The sexy singer has signed an agreement with US giant Procter & Gamble to produce the scent.

She signed a licensing deal with the company in January and the perfume, called Simply Christina Aguilera, will be launched world wide this autumn.

The fragrance will be presented in a curvy glass bottle which is intended to mirror Aguilera’s silhouette.

The advertising campaign will feature the singer’s bare back painted with a black lace design alongside the tagline: "Sometimes it's all you need to wear."

The list of successful celebrity fragrances is endless which kick- started by Jennifer Lopez was. Since then stars including Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Sarah Jessica Parker and Gwen Stefani have embraced the trend.
