Selena Gomez may not be a name you recognise unless you're an avid Disney Channel fan but the young actress is fast becoming a regular feature on best dressed lists.
The 16 year old was discovered by Disney in 2004 and appeared in various programmes including Miley Cyrus's 'Hannah Montana' before getting the lead role in Wizard's of Waverly Place in 2007.
Selena is also a singer and this year signed a record deal with Hollywood Records. She is currently working on her debut album which is set to release next year.
Not content with acting and singing Selena is becoming a bit of a fashion icon with her great style. She can do full on glam for a premiere or her laid back casual chic in the day time. Selena often teams skinny jeans or leggings with a long top and cardigan, accessorised with a cool skinny belt, and the celebrity favourites, Ray-bans.
It's her evening look that we are really coveting though. Selena was snapped at the EA British Academy Children’s Awards this weekend in this stunning Matthew Williamson gown. The flower detail and embellished neckline make this a real standout dress and the purple looks great on Selena.
Earlier this year the actress attended the Teen Hollywood awards in this polka dot black dress.
We love how she has mixed two trends with lace layered over the prom dress. Big spots are going to be huge next year, they featured heavily in House of Holland's Spring Summer 09 collection at London Fashion Week. The ringlet curls look really cute and add a girly edge to this otherwise gothic outfit.
Selena has also shown that she can do grown up glam in this teal dress she wore to Imagen Awards in the summer. She was ahead of the trend, wearing a one shoulder dress before they really took off this season. The nude and white heels help to elongate her legs. We like how she has tied her hair up loosely yet allow tendrils to fall down to frame her face.
