Amy Childs has defended her fashion line over claims it resembled Victoria Beckham's high-end designs.

Whilst Amy’s collection has gone from strength-to-strength over the last three years she has come under fire for creating looks similar to the designer.

But the former Towie star thinks her line is completely different to Victoria’s, insisting it has been created to suit all sizes and even offers interest free-credit on the garments to make them as affordable as possible.

She told MailOnline: "I think my collection is totally different to Victoria's.

"I like to think there is something for all ages and all sizes in my range - I have even expanded up to size 18 now as so many curvy women love my range.

"My aim is to give good quality on trend dresses for sensible prices; I've even added 14 days interest free credit to my website so everyone can buy a dress they love even before payday."

This week the beauty celebrated the third birthday of her collection and revealed some new additions which are ideal for the party season.

Speaking on the success of the collection Amy said: “I’m so proud of it. When I started it I wanted clothing all women could wear and feel glamorous and sexy. 3 years on and now I have nightwear, my new AW14 collection, party wear for Christmas and New Year’s Eve and my collection is the strongest it’s ever been. I could not be happier.”

The party also was the setting for Amy’s launch and first look at her party range ready for the festive season. With glittering floor length numbers, sultry LBDs and fun and flirty midi dresses there is a fit and style for all occasions and women this season.

Speaking on the capsule range Amy said: “My collections are now all based on high street and catwalk trends – directly inspiring my pieces and keeping them current and on trend. My party range has a bit of everything as well as the classic warm festive colours that look great around this time of year. It also has a bit of sparkle – It is my collection after all!”

She explained: "This season I've really sat down, looked at all the catwalk and high street trends and come up with pieces that aren't just my style and suit all trends and women.

"This party capsule was definitely fun to do - I love a bit of sparkle. It wouldn't be my range without a bit of sparkle.'

"I also really try and think about occasions that you could wear my dresses to for this season as there are so many work parties, new year's eve dos and obviously Christmas day.

"I try and keep my pieces seasonal with warm colours and flattering fits. Perfect for when you're tucking in to the choccy on Christmas day."

Amy’s collection is also now available to buy with 14 days interest free credit exclusively on her website – meaning it’s even easier to look and feel fab this festive period. Partywear, part of the AW14 collection, is now launched on www.amychildsofficial.co.uk along with exclusive pieces, daywear, nightwear and eveningwear.
