Christy Turlington back with Maybelline

Christy Turlington has signed a new contract with Maybelline Cosmetics.

The 37 year supermodel first appeared in adverts for the company in the nineties.

She is synonymous with the phrase ‘Maybe She’s Born with It, Maybe she’s Maybelline.’

According to reports, she signed a $1million contract to advertise the company’s Instant Age Rewind Cream Foundation. The television and print adverts for the new campaign which starts next month.

Company President Karen Fondu told WWD :” Maybelline New York- Garnier is delighted to have Christy Turlington back with the brand, as she played such an integral part in making Maybelline New York the icon it is today.”

Turlington, was one of the original supermodels of the nineties, along with Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and Cindy Crawford.

She went into semi retirement eleven years ago to focus on other areas of her life.
