Our favourite store for tight and shiny clothes, American Apparel is been sued by film director Woody Allen.
Woody filed a $10 million (about £6.7 million) lawsuit against the clothing company claiming they used his image on billboards without his permission. He has also complained about them using personal details to intimidate him.
The adverts showed the 73 year old dressed in a rabbi and went up in LA and New York.
Lawyers for the clothing company's boss Dov Charney claim Allen's well-publicised troubles with ex-girlfriend Mia Farrow, and his marriage to their adopted daughter Previn, have soiled his reputation and insist the director's endorsement isn't worth a multi-million dollar payout.
Allen's responded saying: "The clear, underlying objective of this latest... campaign is to seek to tarnish Mr. Allen's reputation a second time."
We're not sure why American Apparel would want to use Woody in their adverts but we wish we'd seen them!
