Fashion store, Next are to sell a handbag-computer in store from next month.

The small laptop, made by British manufacturer Elonex will sell its netbooks for £99, in a range of eye-catching colours from February.

It's predicted to be a big success when it's released, as the compact 'fashionably cheap' laptop offers Internet surfing, e-mail and word processing features.

The screen is only seven-inches wide and can fit into easily into a handbag, offering huge appeal to female shoppers.

It's expected that Next will launch the netbook as a fashion accessory, when it is officially announced later this week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
