Jessica Simpson to be fashion mentor on new show

After her undoubted success in the fashion industry with her fashion line, it would appear that Jessica Simpson wants to give something back.

She will be taking on the role of mentor for the aspiring designers for a new NBC reality series 'Fashion Star'.

Model Elle McPherson will host the show and Jessica will be on hand to help the contestants with their weekly challenges.

After striking it big in the fashion industry, with a fashion label worth close to $1billion under her belt, let's hope she can offer the newbies something to get the style inspiration flowing.
