Karl Lagerfeld Shows Up Late In Venice

The power of Karl Lagerfeld really is unrivaled, after all who else could get away with showing up two hours late to a dinner in his honour?

According to Style.com, the fashion designer was meant to host a dinner for all Chanel showgoers in the city of Venice, but crashed the party two hours late with his entourage.

Apparently all those involved weren't even the slightest bit bothered by Karl's late appearance, as they were just so happy to be in Venice in the first place!

They also reportedly gave him a standing ovation when he arrived, which might have something to do with the fact that their hotels were kitted out with fancy duck faucets in the bathrooms, courtesy of Chanel, reports The Cut. 

The Chanel 2010 Cruise show is one of the most anticipated events of the year, but we doubt that will cheer up Lady Amanda Harlech, as she was stung in the eye by a mosquito and ended up with a winking eye for most of the night.
