This season's catwalks shows have been all about downsizing amid the financial crisis but Lanvin will not be following that trend in Paris.
The label's artistic director Alber Elbaz told WWd that the show will not have an exclusive guest list as he doesn't want to crush peoples dreams.
Elbaz said: "Now, everybody said, ‘Let’s do a small show.’ Intimate, I believe in, but a small show - if you invite only the editors in chief - all the writers, the assistants lose the dream.
"This is the time to invite the people who dream."
Well said Alber! After all these writers are the future editors in the industry after all, and you want them onside!
