Lauren Conrad has reportedly scrapped her new fashion line, due to the worldwide recession.
The Hills star launched her eponymous clothing range, The Lauren Conrad Collection, in 2007 after the success of the popular MTV show.
However, her range was later dropped from celebrity fashion favourite Kitson, when her collection failed to become a hit amongst Hollywood shoppers.
According to ContactMusic, Conrad has now pulled her plans to launch a spring/summer line, and has put her designs on hold for the time being.
A representative for the star tells New York gossip column PageSix, "With everything going on in the economy and in her life, she wants to rework her line and offerings. She will make announcements soon."
