Lauren Conrad to launch Fashion Label

Lauren Conrad to launch Fashion Label

After leaving the US hit reality show The Hills, who would have thought that Lauren Conrad would have a best selling novel at the top of the Times book list and design her own fashion label?

Thank goodness this style icon has a few tricks up her sleeve, as her latest fashion design venture has taken the shape of Paper Crown, her collection of feminine, floral inspired clothes that are poised to take the fashion world by storm.

This is a strong line with plenty to offer a miscelleny of fashion addicts. It is also a trans-seasonal line meaning you can take pieces that you love through into Autumn and Winter too and simply keep on layering.

Don't be put off by the feminine angle as there are pieces such as dark maxi skirts, black laced evening dresses and even festival friendly tops and shorts combinations. It seems Miss Conrad has thought of everything.

Here we have a line full of versatile clothing with a mixture of prints, patterns, fabrics and block colours that are all very much trend setting at the moment. For a relatively young, inexperienced designer it is exciting to see what a little hard work and determination can achieve, particularly when here last effort, the 2009 Lauren Conrad Collection, had to be stopped mid-production.

Perhaps one criticism - is the range trying to do too much? It is safe to say you're not going to please everyone so why try? What is clear is that Lauren Conrad has been waiting a long time to show the world her passion for fashion and her success so far tells us she's not going to go away too easily.
