Schway: New app for the ultimate online shopping experience

Schway: New app for the ultimate online shopping experience

Style the Nation on Channel 4 is a new six-week series where a Style Panel and celebrity guests can critique want-to-be stylists competing in a catwalk competition.

If any of you saw it this weekend then you will know what its all about but for those of you who missed it, viewers were able to take a Style Test online, creating their own collection in a 'Schway' virtual dressing room in a chance to become the next New Look stylist.

Schway, which is availible though out the series, turns a model into an interactive 'schwayable' product which allows you to create, share and purchase entire outfits from a catalogue.

It licenses media applications to retailers and publishers so online shoppers are then able to co-ordinate all the available fashion content; creating outfits, purchasing, saving and sharing across social media.

The company was asked to create a multiple-channel customer experience that offers a fun and easy was to engage with New Look aswell as unites existing online customer communities, content and e-commerce.

Eamonn Clarke, Managing Director of Schway, said: "This is not only a fashion-first for UK TV - New Look sponsors all product placement - but also a first for any fashion retailer to offer a customer such interactivity.

Schway activates product imagery, giving shoppers opportunities to create outfits, to share their vision across social media and purchase."

New Look Daily, which has been set up on the retailers website, attempts to bring New Look's customers from numerous social media areas.

Clarke added: "In the near future, wherever there is fashion online, we see shoppers creating their own shopping journey, engaging with products and sharing their experience across all platforms, across all territories."
