Penelope Cruz’ younger sister is designing a new clothes range for Mango.
According to reports the Spanish high street chain approached Monica Cruz to create a 25 piece collection.
The line will be launched for autumn winter 2007- 8 and include tops, trousers, jackets and accessories.
WWD also reported that Penelope will star in the advertising campaign along with her sister. The campaign will be shot next month by celebrated Spanish photographer Nico Bustos.
This is not Monica’s first foray into fashion design- she already designs handbags for Samantha Thavasa which are sold in Penelope’s own Madrid based store Amarcord.
The new range is expected to be much larger than the current line for Mango by model and actress Milla Jovovich.
