Top supermodel Lara Stone shows she can’t get enough of this year’s Red Noses as she launches Red Nose Day today (Thursday 3rd February) in a stunning recreation of the iconic Marilyn Monroe ‘Seven Year Itch’ picture, with a twist.

There are three different monster Red Noses to choose from this Red Nose Day, all available from Sainsbury’s, Oxfam or www.rednoseday.com.

Lara Stone said: “I had so much fun being Marilyn Monroe for the day and recreating such an iconic shot with a Red Nose twist. It was an honour to be asked to take part in such an important campaign. Red Nose Day is such a simple way for everyone to get involved and raise money to help the people that need it most in the UK and Africa.”

She is joined by a host of famous names to launch this year’s campaign, including her husband David Walliams, John Cleese, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, David Tennant and Alexandra Burke. Many can be seen donning the essential Red Nose along with the fabulous new Red Nose Day T-shirt by Vivienne Westwood, available from TK Maxx.  All are calling on the nation to do something funny for money for Red Nose Day, which takes place on Friday 18th March.

The campaign will culminate in a brilliant night of TV on Friday 18th March on BBC One at 7pm with Comic Relief: Funny for Money.  The amazing line up of presenters is also revealed today - the fabulous Kevin Bridges, James Corden, Fearne Cotton, Lenny Henry, Davina McCall, Michael McIntyre, Graham Norton, Jonathan Ross, Jack Whitehall and Claudia Winkleman.

Davina McCall said: “I am so excited to be part of Red Nose Day again this year, it’s always such a privilege to be involved. The British public really knows how to have a laugh and raising money along the way for such a fantastic charity makes it even more worthwhile. I’ve been lucky enough to see many of the amazing projects that Comic Relief funds both in the UK and Africa so have seen the difference it can make to people’s lives. ”

The night will treat viewers to pure comedy gold with sketches from Gavin and Stacey’s Smithy, Harry Hill and for the first time, comedy award winning Miranda Hart - such fun! Gareth Malone’s choirmaster skills are tested to the max as he attempts to turn TV chefs into tuneful choristers with Rick Astley’s ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’.

More hilarity and hijinx ensues with sketches from the cast of Outnumbered and top moments from The Inbetweeners Rude Road Trip, where the lads from the hit comedy visited a total of 52 rude places in just 50 hours. Inbetweeners fans won’t have long to wait to see the boys’ antics as highlights of their trip, which took place last month, are available to buy exclusively on iTunes from today.

‘Let’s Dance for Comic Relief’ returns with The One Show’s Alex Jones joining Steve Jones to host this year’s lycra clad line up. Announced today as taking to the stage and paying homage to some favourite dance classics are Lulu, Caroline Flack, Ade Edmondson, Lee Nelson and an 80’s super group of Toyah Wilcox, Clare Grogan, Chesney Hawkes and Limahl, who will be joining comedy stars Noel Fielding, Russell Kane, Ed Byrne and a host of other famous faces. Celebrity panellists include Keith Lemon, Miranda Hart and Felix Dexter. ‘Let’s Dance for Comic Relief’ starts on Saturday 19th February.

Whatever you’re doing to raise money you can make sure you’re doing it in style by wearing a piece of fashion history with the fabulous range of Red Nose Day T-shirts designed by renowned fashion icon Vivienne Westwood. The collection represents a unique fusion of humour and iconic historical images, including Rowan Atkinson as ‘Edmund’ from Blackadder and original king of comedy himself, William Shakespeare. All are available from TK Maxx and www.rednoseday.com.

Comic Relief spends all the money raised through Red Nose Day to give extremely poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the UK and Africa a helping hand to turn their lives around.
