Scotland's top fashion, design and textile talent was honoured last night (15 June) at the country's most glamorous red carpet event - The Scottish Fashion Awards.The black tie extravaganza took place at the Glasgow Science Centre.
Hosted by MTV's Laura Whitmore, honours were given to Harris Tweed Hebrides, Tali Lennox, Henrietta Ludgate, Henry Holland, Bebaroque.
The top prize of the night went to renowned photographer Rankin,who received The Hall of Fame 2011 award.
Rankin has photographed a plethora of iconic people and global fashion covers from The Queen and Kate Moss to the Rolling Stones and Kylie Minogue. His name is synonymous with dynamic, creative and intimate photography, securing his positions as one of the worlds top fashion photographers.
Tessa Hartmann founder and producer told the audience,

From our most prominent textile manufacturers, to leading designers, models, fashion innovators and educators, it's a list that would stand its ground against the world's biggest fashion capitals - all Scottish, all flying our fashionable flag.
To have this sort of attendance and credibility is not only an honour for the awards ceremony, it's an honour for Scotland and the idealistic and contemporary perception we want and need for our country to compete internationally." Hartmann said.
