The Simone Rocha collar

The Simone Rocha collar

Simone Rocha has designed an exclusive one-off piece for the Save the Children fashion auction - #bidboutique.

The celebrated Irish graduate of Central St Marton's College unique collars are this season’s must-have accessory, as seen in fashion magazines from Vogue, Love to i-D and Dazed & Confused.

Rocha known for her unique twist on classic everyday items has created the piece using a cream wool blanket stitched embellishment on silver mirrored leather.

With 2 days remaining to buy a piece of fashion history, fashionistas should get bidding!

Simone Rocha said: "I am so happy to support Save the Children and to be part of the #bidboutique auction!”

For anyone who wants a sneak peak at the Simone Rocha, Save the Children collar can head down to the Vodafone London Fashion Weekend at Somerset House between Thursday 20 – Sunday 23 September.

The collar and other key items from the auction – including the Burberry dress worn by Samantha Cameron to the Royal Wedding in 2011, are on display at the Save the Children installation at Somerset House and featured in the Vodafone London Fashion Weekend catwalk shows being held at the Official British Fashion Council show space.

The #bidboutique auction which launched on 13 September is Save the Children’s first ever online designer boutique auction in conjunction with both eBay and The British Fashion Council.

The Born to Shop #bidboutique online auction is part of the No Child Born to Die campaign which aims to stop the needless deaths of more than 7.6 million children every year. With the money raised from the auction, Save the Children will be able to deliver life-saving aid to children in some of the world’s poorest countries.
