Stephen Jones has revealed that he would like to design a hat for Michelle Obama.
The legendary hat maker joins a long list of designers and admirers who have registered their interest in dressing the fashionable First Lady.
When asked by Dazed Digital recently if Mrs O would be a dream customer of his, he replied: "She would be, yes. I've never seen her wear a hat and I just don't accept people who say 'I'm not a hat wearer'. But she would probably go to an American milliner if she wanted one, which is a shame!"
Jones has spoken out about Michelle's style before, as he famously questioned why she didn't wear a hat to Barack Obama's inauguration only last month.
He told Love magazine: "I would love to have a word with Michelle Obama, because she didn’t wear a hat for President Obama’s inauguration. I think there a few occasions when one really should stand on ceremony."
